Back Cover

The back cover draws you in with this photo taken by Todd and Nancy Steele on the beautiful Fennessey Ranch.  "We discovered this mother alligator with her dozen young next to a water culvert. The Alligators home was no larger than a good-sized jacuzzi and yet they survived in their mother’s wallowed out hole while the nearby marsh dried in concrete," according to Todd.

Kritter Kamp and Kritter 4 Kids Corner

We are very excited about our own uniquely designed Kritter Kamp coming to the Coastal Bend in the Summer of 2010.  Kritter Kamp at Camp Aranzazu will be held for children that are terminally ill thanks to a generous grant from Harvey Weil foundation.   There will be more to come about the Kamp as details unfold.

It is not to late to give the gift of wildlife to the school of your choice.  When you sponsor a school you are giving them 25 Wildlife in Focus Books for classroom use, a TEKS approved science curriculum and Kritter Kards for learning through games.  Remember your donations are tax deductible and we have teachers in line waiting to receive this gift from you.  This  makes a wonderful memorial for a loved one as their name will be displayed on our traveling exhibit and in our upcoming book. Call Patti at (361)881-9316 to donate a Kritters for Kids Sponsorship.
