Book Dedication and Premiere Party Follow-up
Wildlife
in Focus IV was recently dedicated to Mr. Brien O’Connor Dunn for
his leadership in Conservation at our Book Dedication & Fundraising
Party. Brien represents today’s link to the 176 year ownership of the
Fennessey Ranch by the O’Connor Family. Each generation has faced and met a new set of challenges to holding their land and making it productive. Brien started the Fennessey Ranch and wildlife projects in response to what he saw as the most urgent and far reaching challenges yet.
Wildlife in Focus IV
is a testiment to the hard work of our local landowners, talented
photographers and dedicated sponsors and supporters.
The event raised over $16,000 for Environmental
Education which allows us to spread our mission of raising
public awareness about wildlife and habitat conservation.

Thank You for your wonderful support!

For the Kids....
At this year's Wildlife in Focus Book
Dedication Party we decided to direct the fundraising portion to
the kiddos of the community. The challenge was to have each
person in the room purchase one book to donate to our local schools
through Kritters 4 Kids. We had a wonderful response, raising
enough money to donate 166 books to our local schools. That's 6 schools!
If
you would like to donate to our Kritters 4 Kids program, just give us a
call and pledge your donation by December 31, 2008. We still need
9 books to complete a 7th school donation from this fundraiser.
Remember these donations are tax deductible.
